What is the difference between Microblading and feathering eyebrows?
The only real difference? Microblading covers the whole brow area to create fullness, while feathering is more for those with naturally full brows that have sparse areas.
Is feather touch the same as Microblading?
Microblading and Feather Touch Eyebrow is the same thing with a different name. It is semi-permanent technique. Legally it is called a tattoo but I use a small handheld tool with a very fine blade. This deposits pigment into the skin that look exactly like hairstrokes and lasts up to 2 years.
How do you take care of feathered eyebrows?
Skincare after microblading
- Avoid getting the area wet for up to 10 days, which includes keeping your face dry during a shower.
- Don’t wear makeup for at least a week.
- Don’t pick at scabs, tug, or itch the eyebrow area.

How do you get feathered eyebrows?
The key to feathered brows is starting small, with a light touch to only the areas that need some extra filling. Tackle the sparse areas first, usually the areas on the outer parts of your brow. Apply the pencil with soft, upward hair strokes before you move on to the fuller areas.

If you have any kind of skin condition on or near your eyebrows. This includes eczema, shingles, rashes, or anything else near eyebrows. Taking Blood Thinners such as: Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Coumadin etc.
Can I wash my eyebrows after 7 days of Microblading?
Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath.

For both the powdered ombré and combination brows, healing takes 2-3 weeks. For the first 3 days your brows will be very dark, and then they will start to scab. Unlike microblading that scabs in patches, powder brows scab in one big (or a few big) pieces.
